How it works
How Vapofil Works: Seven Printed Doses, Explained
Vapofil is a two-capsule daily herbal supplement that relies on seven printed ingredients, 118 mg in all.
Tongkat ali comes at 10 mg and saw palmetto at 20 mg. It is a herbal supplement, not an ED drug or a testosterone prescription.

The idea
What is Vapofil designed to do?
Vapofil is designed as a daily herbal capsule for men. It puts seven plant and mineral ingredients into two capsules, and the label prints the amount of each one.
The bottle itself is quiet. Its front reads only "VAPOFIL · PREMIUM FORMULA · 60 CAPSULES · DIETARY SUPPLEMENT". It makes no claim about sex drive, erections or hormones.
The sales page sells Vapofil for desire, erections and testosterone. Those are its words, not the label's, so we judge each ingredient at the doses research used.

Four steps
How do you use Vapofil sensibly, step by step?
Get symptoms checked, read the label, take two capsules, and judge it inside the money-back window.
- 01
See a doctor for symptoms
Erection or desire problems can signal heart disease, diabetes, low testosterone or a medicine side effect. Get checked.
- 02
Read the label
Seven printed amounts, 118 mg in all. Check each against your medicines.
- 03
Take two capsules
Two a day with an 8 oz glass of water, in the morning per the sales page. Never more.
- 04
Judge it inside 60 days
Track how you feel weekly. The refund window is 60 days from purchase, after at least 30 days of use.
Ingredient by ingredient
What was each Vapofil ingredient studied for?
Only tongkat ali has a human trial on testosterone, and it used far more than Vapofil holds. The other six were studied for other things, or for nothing that fits the sales page.
| Ingredient | Studied for | Amount studied or sold | One serving holds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tongkat ali | Testosterone in men aged 50-70 with low levels | 100 or 200 mg a day for 12 weeks (LiverTox: Tongkat ali) | 10 mg |
| Horny goat weed | Sexual function (traditional use); bone loss in women | Sold as 250-500 mg a day (LiverTox: Horny goat weed) | 8 mg |
| Saw palmetto | Urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate | 320 mg a day (LiverTox: Saw palmetto) | 20 mg |
| Nettle | Root: prostate symptoms. Leaf: hay fever, joints | No men's health dose for the leaf | 20 mg of leaf |
| Wild yam | Menopause symptoms, with mixed results | No useful dose | 20 mg |
| Sarsaparilla | Folk tonic; no proven use | No established dose | 20 mg |
| Boron | Diet surveys and safety limits | Diet gives about 1-1.5 mg a day (ODS: Boron) | About 1 mg |
The boron figure is our arithmetic: 20 mg of a 5% chelate holds about 1 mg of boron.
Dose check
How do Vapofil's doses compare with the research?
Every amount is printed. Every herb sits far below what studies used or what products usually hold.
Saw palmetto shows the gap clearly: 20 mg is 1/16 of the 320 mg used in prostate trials. Even at that full dose, a 2023 Cochrane review of 27 trials found no real benefit over placebo (AFP/Cochrane 2023: Saw palmetto for BPH).
Horny goat weed is further off. The NIH's LiverTox notes that products usually hold 250 or 500 mg (LiverTox: Horny goat weed). Vapofil's 8 mg is about one thirtieth of the smaller size.
The key herb
What does the tongkat ali in Vapofil actually add?
Each Vapofil serving carries 10 mg of tongkat ali extract. That is a tenth of the lower dose, and a twentieth of the higher dose, used in the best-known trial.
That 2021 trial gave 105 men aged 50 to 70, all with testosterone under 300 ng/dL, either 100 mg or 200 mg a day for 12 weeks. Total testosterone rose by 9% and 12.5%, against a 3% fall on placebo. Free testosterone did not change (LiverTox: Tongkat ali).
The label says the extract is "100:1" and "equivalent to approximately 1000mg of dry Tongkat Ali powder". In our reading, that figure describes the dry root used to make the extract. The capsules still hold 10 mg of extract. We cannot verify that ratio from the label; it is the maker's own figure. The tongkat ali doses article explains extract ratios.
The U.S. military's supplement safety program says more evidence is needed to confirm any marketed benefit (OPSS: Tongkat ali).
The other five
Do the other Vapofil ingredients do what they are sold for?
Mostly not. Two are sold on a hormone idea that research rejects, one is the wrong plant part, and two sit far under any studied amount.
No hormone change in people
Its diosgenin can be turned into steroids in a lab. The body does not do this, so it will not raise DHEA (RxList: Wild yam).
No plant holds testosterone
RxList calls the idea that its plant sterols become testosterone "a false claim" (RxList: Sarsaparilla).
The studies used root
Prostate research used nettle root. Leaves contain different chemicals, so root results do not carry over (WebMD: Stinging nettle).
Vapofil's mix fits a wider pattern. When researchers checked 50 "testosterone booster" products in 2020, only about a quarter of the ingredients had data showing a rise (Clemesha 2020: T-booster claims).
Label vs sales page
Why does the Vapofil bottle say less than the sales page?
The bottle makes no sex claim at all. The sales page makes several. Supplement labels must stay inside structure/function rules, and they cannot claim to treat or cure a disease (FDA: Structure/function claims).
| Front of the bottle | "VAPOFIL", "Premium Formula", "60 Capsules", "Dietary Supplement". Nothing more. |
|---|---|
| Sales page | Says it raises desire, improves erections and lifts testosterone. These are its claims; no study of Vapofil supports them. |
| FDA notice on the label | "*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease." |
Plain answer
Is Vapofil an ED or testosterone treatment?
No. Vapofil is an herbal supplement, and no drug is listed on its label. It is not meant to treat ED, low testosterone or any other illness.
ED is common, and it often has a cause worth finding. Clogged arteries, diabetes, high blood pressure and many medicines can all play a part (NIDDK: ED symptoms & causes). Proven ED treatments, such as prescription pills, come from a doctor (MedlinePlus: Erectile dysfunction).
Low testosterone is confirmed by blood work, not by how you feel. It takes two morning blood tests plus symptoms (Urology Care: Low testosterone).
FDA has found hidden sildenafil and tadalafil in many "sexual enhancement" products (FDA: X10 hidden sildenafil/tadalafil). With nitrate heart medicines they can drop blood pressure to dangerous levels. No lab test of Vapofil is published, so buy only through the official order page.
Realistic
What can you realistically expect from Vapofil?
- Seven ingredients, each with a printed amount and no hidden blend
- Herbs at a small fraction of studied or usual doses
- No published trial of Vapofil itself
- No drug effect and no treatment for ED or low testosterone
- A 60-day money-back window to judge it, after 30 days of use
FAQ
How Vapofil works: FAQ
How is Vapofil supposed to work?
Vapofil is meant to work through seven herbs and a mineral taken as two capsules a day. Its tongkat ali and horny goat weed are the herbs most linked with men's sexual health. Both sit far below studied or usual amounts, and no trial of Vapofil itself has been published.
How does Vapofil compare with a typical testosterone booster?
Vapofil looks much like the products in a 2020 review of 50 testosterone boosters. That review found only about a quarter of their ingredients had data showing a rise (Clemesha 2020: T-booster claims). Vapofil differs in one good way: it prints every amount instead of hiding them in a blend.
Do the seven herbs in Vapofil work better together?
No study has tested this mix, so any combined effect is a guess. Makers often say herbs boost each other, but small amounts of seven ingredients do not add up to one studied dose. Nobody has measured what the blend does as a whole.
Why is the tongkat ali dose in Vapofil so low?
The label gives no reason. Vapofil holds 10 mg of a 100:1 extract, a tenth of the 100 mg in a 12-week trial in men with low testosterone (LiverTox: Tongkat ali). The 1000 mg figure on the label describes dry root used to make the extract.
Does Vapofil work like a prescription ED pill?
No. Prescription ED pills are drugs with large trials behind them. Vapofil is an herbal supplement with no trial of its own and tiny herb doses. ED can signal heart disease or diabetes, so a doctor visit is the right first step (MedlinePlus: Erectile dysfunction).
Is the X-ray body graphic on the Vapofil sales page a medical scan?
No. It is a decorative brand graphic, not an image of anyone's body or of any effect of the capsules. It shows no blood flow, hormone or test result. Treat it as artwork, like the other photos on the sales page.
